Events:

Food Fair - The Los Angeles County 4-H Food Fair is an opportunity for youth to try their hands at cooking in a competitive setting. Youth members (aged 9 and older) compete with food entries such as: baked goods, canned & preserved goods, cake decorating, food preparation, and they may also participate in a judging contest and chili cook-off.

Judging Day - Los Angeles County Judging Day is a countywide event where 4-H'ers learn to develop and apply their critical thinking and decision making skills.

Field Day - Field Day is one of the most valuable assets of our 4-H program. This is a day where 4-H’ers share the skills, and knowledge they have acquired in their 4-H projects.

Fashion Revue - Fashion Revue showcases our best LA County 4-H clothing projects.

Livestock Symposium - The Livestock Symposium will be held at the AV Fairgrounds (2551 W. Avenue H, Lancaster,). There will be many outstanding livestock speakers on-hand providing demonstrations and answering questions. Download Livestock Symposium Flyer for more information.

San Gabriel Valley Fair - The 79th San Gabriel Valley Fair will be held at the Chino Fairgrounds on April 29-May 1 2011. Go to: http://sgv4hfair.com for more information.

Science Symposium - The 4-H Science Symposium is tentatively scheduled for April 2, 2011. Click here for more information.

Leaders' Luncheon - Annuallly, Los Angeles County 4-H recognizes their volunteer leaders at the Leaders’ Luncheon held in May at the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills (15600 Odyssey Dr Granada Hills, CA 91344). Click here to see the Leaders Luncheon Slide Show.

2011 4-H Summer Camp (June 26 - July 2) - Every summer, 4-H'ers head to Camp Seeley (in the San Bernardino Mountains) for the 4-H Summer Camp. Open to boys and girls ages 8 to 19. For more information visit: http://www.4hsummercamp.com/.

4-H Pet Symposium - Los Angeles County will host its third annual Pet Symposium on Saturday, October 10, 2010. The day includes speakers and displays on a variety of pet-related topics.
