Network for a Healthy California

The Network for a Healthy California program is a collaboration between schools and community organizations to encourage low-income children and their families to eat the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables and enjoy physical activity every day.

The program consists of two major campaigns:
Network for a Healthy California--Children's Power Play! Campaign
Network for a Healthy California--Latino Campaign
Starting on October 1, 2011, these two campaigns will be managed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. As always, staff members will continue to work with local school districts and community organizations to make a real difference in reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
