The farm advisor works closely with growers, local agencies and other Cooperative Extension advisors and specialists in order to develop cost-effective and sustainable agronomic practices. At the same time, he considers the challenges associated with increasing production costs, water use restrictions, agriculture-urban interface and a growing population.
