Try one of these delicious salad dressings using fruit flavored vinegar, or make your favorite salad dressing and substitute flavored vinegar for plain vinegar.
Creamy Raspberry Vinegar Dressing for Fruit Salad![]()
1/4 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
1 Tablespoon honey
2-3 Tablespoons raspberry flavored vinegar (or fruit flavored vinegar of your choice)
1. Blend ingredients together in a small bowl, or add all ingredients to a jar and shake well.
2. Pour over fruit salad.
Classic Orange Vinegar Salad Dressing![]()
1/2 cup orange flavored vinegar
1/4 cup corn or olive oil
1 Tablespoon basil, minced
1 Tablespoon chives, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed salt and pepper to taste
1. Blend ingredients together in a small bowl, or add all ingredients to a jar and shake well.
2. Serve over chilled crisp lettuce leaves, or steamed broccoli or carrots.
This dressing makes a tasty marinade for chicken or pork.

1/4 cup corn oil or light olive oil
1/2 cup raspberry flavored vinegar (or fruit flavored vinegar of your choice)
2 tablespoon sour cream
1 tablespoons chives
1 tablespoons parsley
salt and pepper to taste
1. Blend ingredients together in a small bowl, or add all ingredients to a jar and shake well.
2. Serve over chilled crisp lettuce leaves, or steamed vegetables.
Ginger Vinegar Salad Dressing ![]()

1/4 cup sesame or soy oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced celery
1/2 cup ginger flavored vinegar
2-3 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon catsup
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until vegetables are pureed.
2. Shake thoroughly before using.
3. Serve over crisp chilled lettuce leaves, steamed vegetables.
This dressing makes a tasty marinade for fish or chicken.
